The Medical center, EMBRYOTECH, was created in 1992 by the initiative group of professional biologists, cryobiologists, doctors, and immunologists whose common goal was to study the unique properties of embryonic cells and tissues and the manifestation of their clinical effects.

Scientifically grounded methods of cryopreservation of hemopoietic embryonic cells for clinical application have been developed in the Medical Center. The methods underwent clinical approbation in leading medical institutions of Ukraine. Methodic recommendations and technical regulations were developed and approved . During 1996-2002 under the support of the State Innovation Foundation works on the subject of "Developing and application of technological processes of obtaining and cryopreserving hemopoietic cells of the human embryonic liver for clinical application" had been carried out. As a result, a low temperature bank of hemopoietic cells was created. Our scientists carry our works of processing and cryopreservation of bone marrow, peripheral stem cells, and other tissues.

The staff of the center consists of a team of qualified doctors of various specialties and highly skilled scientists (biologists, cryobiologists, biochemists, immunologists, and geneticists).

Embryotech actively collaborates with leading Ukrainian clinics and research institutions and is involved in a number of research programs.

Embryotech has up-to-date technical resources for cryopreservation and cells and tissues culturing , as well as for rendering medical services providing a high level of treatment-and- diagnostic processes.

Principal achievements of the center are published, patented, or possess inventor"s certificates.
